FAQ
Why Am I Awesome?
If you're a professional then Am I Awesome allows you to gather reviews from your real clients without risk of getting spam.
If you're a potential client validating a professional, then you can read reviews from real clients to know what to expect from professional's work. If you're in a hurry, you can just glaze on a professional's overall rating.
How can I control who can leave me a review?
You're creating a special link for every each of your clients. This link can be used to leave only one review. That guarantees that your page stays clean from spam or angry competitors.
How my clients are going to receive that link?
Copy it and send it by yourself via email, any messenger, or whatever channel you prefer. Feel free also to write a personal note about why it is important for you to get a review from that particular person. Your client would prefer to receive a personal message from you than just an automatically generated one from a service. It is hard to get good reviews, so those small things count.
Why can't I use one link for everyone to leave me reviews?
Review request link works only once. The second person who would try to use it will not be able to leave you a review. That guarantees that you will not receive fake reviews from random people from the internet.
Why my reviewers need to log in with a social network to leave me a review?
To add social credibility to your reviews. Your new potential clients would know that there are real people behind those testimonials. We also realize that a social profile could be fake, but it is the best way to validate someone's identity fast and without complex procedures, which would bring chances to get a review almost to zero.

If professionals control who can leave them a review then does it mean that they will have only positive reviews?
As soon as professionals are in control who can leave them a review, they obviously could send links to only those clients who could give them a positive review. But only those who are happy with professional's work would do it. So if a professional is not good, he/she would not just get any reviews. Simple.
Also, every review has a private part where a client responds to a simple question:
‘would you recommend this professional to your friend’?
Those responses are fully private and used to calculate a professional's overall rating.
Is the private part of a review really private?
Yes, here is why:
- it is not connected to a review, or a review request, just directly to a professional. So if someone somehow gets access to our raw database data, he still will not be able to understand who left what private review.
- to not allow professional to guess the responses by his/her rating changes we update it only when a batch of new private reviews come. Batch size is random, but the minimal is 3.
